About Me

I built my first website back in 2004.  I couldn’t afford a web designer and I had specific ideas.  I was also curious.  I wanted to learn everything I could so that one day, when I could afford a web designer, I wouldn’t look like a bimbo.

This is my third website, there was nothing wrong with the other two, its just that, like me – they have evolved.

One thing has remained the same though, and that’s my Story.  Here is the excerpt from 2004.

THE STORY

Let me tell you what I like…

I like intimate dinners with friends. I like talking and bursting into song and dance in the middle of the street. I like taking baths, winning at monopoly and have a minor obsession with Conde Nast Traveller. I like Sweetcorn from San Francisco, music of any kind and great french wine.

I like to work hard – it makes the “play” worthwhile.
Oh and I will pay any amount for the perfect pair of shoes

Now let me tell you what I love…

I love my family, boating days, good good coffee, my cousins cupcakes, theatre and ballet. I love sitting in the shade of a tree with a good book and lazy sundays. I love Como, Italy – all things Italian. I love sleeping in big beautiful beds and anything European.

I love, and yes admit it, Great Hotels – I mean they are part of my history.

I love my amazing god daughter Zoe and my crazy crazy friends.

Most of all though, I love what I do. And that, my friends, is what this site is about.
